Yes thats were they left you hanging with the older style apps. Thru Merc also there is a whole updated kit with newer actuator and hoses and fittings attached but it costs around 500 to 600 bucks.

I had a about 1 minute to look at this as I know 100 % that merc new style actuator uses these fittings in the link below. What we have done many of times in the past for a new installed actuator...
