We tend to use the entirety of any hull when it gets rough, (when it counts)...

The tabs (transom) on the Hustler are roughly 37' 6" linear feat from the nose of the boat. So it's not exactly 38' 8" of boat.

The 37OL is bigger than the 37AT, and heavier. I'd compare a 37 Outerlimits with the 38 PowerPlay before anything like an AT, Cigarette, Hustler; strickly comparing sizes.
