I agree that none of the old ones did. The 15,700 comes from the builder on what a new one would weigh.

Didn't know that. Since the owner stated it was a new, '06 McManus boat. He even went out of his way to say how different it was from the boats built 15 years ago- with all the new technology. ...

My old 45 Cary weighed 19K and my 46 Searay weighs just under 25K with 3/4 load of fuel and all the "stuff" on board. That should give you some relative benchmarks on boat weight.

McManus quotes the boat at 15,700 with a full cabin. My guess is the builder knows. Probably not as much as you, though.

Neat boat but the owner was sort of clueless.
