No, a Stern Jack bolts between the bell housing...

No, a Stern Jack bolts between the bell housing and the drive and acts like an extension box setting the drive back further off the transom. They require modified (longer) trim rams.

+ 1 on John at the Bravo Shop. Lose the Stern...

+ 1 on John at the Bravo Shop. Lose the Stern Jack before you lose a gimbal ring at speed. Put an etension box on it if the boat loves the setback.
