You know you can never trust the 'Manufacturers Estimated Top Speed' or pictures of a GPS, so the only...

Thirsty... we will see :D

43' is a lot of boat to get under 10,000 pounds... even the baked Outerlimits 42 is >10K. When you lose the bet, I will share one of the beers!

Re: Half arse job or what?

I was quoted $16 per foot, which includes buffing both sides, deck, transom, and a full polish on ALL the SS hardware. I drop it off next week... hope it turns out nice.

Re: WTF black thunder

Sure looks like a BT. Weren't they planning on brining out a 48-50' sport cruiser? This boat has a new stern, windshied (?) and tall bow rails, as compared to the 460.

Re: New 43 Sunsation F4 - pictures

Looks fantastic. Do they have any estimate of total weight at this point? I beleive Sunsation was looking for 10,000 pound or less.

I would assume the builder (and you) is very happy with the...

Re: How Can I Get A McGard Prop Lock OFF

Tap a large socket over the lock, and turn off. It might trash a socket, but it should grip enough to remove.

Are they laying up hull #2, or will they finish #1 first, check/adjust and then move forward with 'production'?

Congrats... looking great.

Re: Engines Running Different RPMs

Is there variation all the way through the RPM range, or just at top end?

Re: Boat Ramp in Door County WI or Escanaba MI

The ramp I used was at Sawyer Park in Sturgeon Bay. There are other ramps further north, but if you have a bigger boat, it will get tight.

PS, there is a West Marine and gas about 1 mile south of...

Re: Boat Ramp in Door County WI or Escanaba MI

There is a very nice launch in Sturgeon Bay with easy in and out. We left our truck and trailer there for a week and everything was OK when we got back.
