I will have to look this up again but I think 93 is on its out every where.

But back to the question.... Which BTW is a loaded one. I am not sure any one can say safely what max CR on 93 is. way...

I have the same ignition system from my 330 hp 454 on my 500hp 502. I cant seem to get over 5100 rpms out of it. So are you saying there is no rev limiter on this motors system?

How much difference is there to an older hydromotive to a new one? The prop that was given to me is said to be 6+ yrs old.

A/F sensor (wide band) is the only way to go. they are good from λ=.7 to λ=2.2 a Duel stage O2 is only accurate from λ=.9 to λ=1.05

I have to agree. There are guys with 330 hp motors in this light narrow beam boat that are 5mph faster than me!? This is not a tug. There is a lot more in there.....

Ok At work and have my notes on the carb. The Carb is a 4780 / 4150 I have Jetting is P @78 and S@ 82 And a 4.5 Primary power valve and a 6.5 in the Secondaries.

Edited that last post...Flowed 800. not a 600. It flowing well over 850cfm. Like I said its jetted the same as the stock 502/502 850. Plugs have perfect color.

Heads are the I/E- 2.19/1.88...

I am using a 502 GM performance Short block.The Heads are the same as a zz502. I would have thought I would pull more RPMs than it does. I have a flowed 600 holley with the same jetting as the stock...

Dont know where I am with no trim but with positive trim at the sweet spot it will pull 5000 rpms. with The 23p hydromotive. If I over trim it rolls over and drops the bow and revs up to 5200 rpms...

That's interesting......... it started life as a 330hp. how is your bottom? the hook is right at the pad area.
