The date is being set by U.I.M. so it will be a world record. They have asked that it be before the Miami show. I would like to take our boat up also.

You mean the way that OL did it in the middle of the Atlantic with no one around to record the speed, except a GPS. and keeping it a "secret" till Miami?

At least Fountain has made it public record that he is gonna try and better his own record.

He doesn't have to invite anyone else. He just has to have a measured kilo course and a certifing body there to say that it was legit. and GPS don't count........

Well....how noble of Fountain to be so considerate. Lets not talk about Fountain showing up in Florida with their.............uh.............RACE BOAT....... WITHOUT telling anyone they were going to be producing the now infamous "Cat Killer" video during a poker run..... :rolleyes: Hmmm........maybe you shouldn't throw stones from a glass house..... :blaster: :drink:

Cat Killer was a Poker Run. A Kilo is a whole other story. They are "supposed" to be on a measured 6/10 of a mile, with some certified agency there to make sure. They aren't supposed to be done in secret, and they certainly don't mean chit when all the proof you have is a GPS reading.

Reggie should just be glad Skater doesn't decide to put the smack on them with their V..... :D I'd personally love to see what a 38 or 42 would do against the 399 V.....both with factory sealed 525's.....then Re-checked for FACTORY SEALED :drink:

What ever. Middle of ocean or Boston Harbor. It was a bogus run on GPS, done TOTALLY in secret. At least when Reggie runs its done in the open and people know ahead of time.

I didn't know that anyone had to be allowed to show up. Thats cool. So all the other guys that have never been close to Reggie , Like OL, Cig, and Skater can show up and show what they have?

I guess it can run with different motors when it races vs when they do the Kilo run.

what does mikey have to do with this. that is just a ****i way to win a race if the boat delaminated the way his crew said it did "then your done". its just the way reggie plays his games. i know im tired of it and i guess a lot of others are tired of it, thats why so many racers went to oss.

This thread is not supposed to have any thing to do with racing. This is about a kilo run. When someone beside Fountain actually shows up for one and runs then it will be news. Till then, Reggie has the record, and has had for years. If the others want to play then let them show up. If they are faster, great. If not, tough luck. When ever anyone brings up Reggie having the kilo record, that KW race comes up. It has nothing what so ever to do with a Kilo run.

The cat killer video wasn't planned they spent 3 days in the studio doing voice overs. they decided to put it together after the fact. it wasn't premeditated.

They make a good boat period. They have a great history, win tons of races and built an unbelievable business

The goofy antics and that hyped up southern drawl (or marbles in his mouth) and stunning black outfits makes you want to laugh at him. What causes such a successful business man, muti world record holder and great hall of fame racer stoop to such circus antics and act so bizzare?

The Cat Killer Video was B.S. I have friends with cats that could smoke that boat. You're not comparing equals when comparing a V Hull to a Cat, and I hate Cats!!!
