Same answer I got last year. I guess I don't know te right people. Nice to see all the time I have spend over the years going to LGPC & LG Town meeting speaking up for performance boaters on LG. Speed limits and noise regs. etc. and can't even get in on the only performance event on LG.

I dont mean to come off rude, and If I do i appologize, but I do not choose the people who run in the demo. It is not up to me. Its an event sponsered by Performance Marine, Id bet that 90% of the boats running are Performance Marine customers, who we know and can trust will not turn this into a real race. The other 10 percent are real racers coming up...who as well can be trusted. I dont know you, and I appologize on behalf of the people putting this together, but were trying to proove that performance boating on LG is NOT a bad thing, and we are civilizied people, that is the main goal, not inviting as many people as we can. We are doing this 100% by the book, permits, Park Commission blocking off the course from spectators, the whole 9 yards. At the end of the day, it will be a great event, like I said, come to the party, watch the races, have fun, get your name out and next year, run your boat.
