So what is the 'new' camera, and what was the 'old' camera.
Based on you comment, I guess you love the 'new' one.
NJPPCS, that's one of the things I miss from NJ

That was when they offered me the latest Mark IV. I immediately saw a difference in the focusing and the images were so much better than what I was getting from the Mark III's. But fortunately, this MARK IV too had to go back for repair as the Dial Wheel stopped working. That was when I decided to ship all of my L-Series lenses back with it to have them all calibrated to the Mark IV. This is when I started seeing some real sharp images coming out of the camera...
This was the 1st day trying it out once I got everything back:

After several years of defective Mark III bodies with focusing issues, I was at my breaking point. The last camera that was sent back for repair which was a refurbished model they had just shipped to me, they found problems with it. At that point I told them to keep it. I no longer wanted anymore Mark III's and was now considering selling all of my equipment.

Thanks for the update.
The 1Dmk4 has the same crop (1.3) as the 1Dmk3, it has 60% more res, and it has video, you are going to love it.
I have been told calibrating the lens collection to the body, is worth it's weight in gold. Are you a CPS member?
PS: love that lighthouse picture.
