I would like to hear some opinions if this would be good exposure (no pun intended) for our sport ?

They have the models, they have the fast cars, they have the Miami scene and what seems to be missing is some flashy offshore boats.

Yes, I realize Miami Vice did not turn out how many would have wanted it to, but if you had a chance to get your boat in a movie such as this would you ???

I have discussed this with the writer and President of the production company and we both felt it would make for a great addition.
A few days ago they uploaded an alternate trailer with a split second clip of a MTI, so perhaps he is moving in this direction.
The movie has been picked up by Paramount and is fully funded.

Any thoughts ???

Hey Tim, great topic, I would love to see more high dollar MTIs, Skater's, Cigs , OLs, etc.. in TV and Movies.... I would go to the movie or watch the TV show, just to see the boats.. Its good to see the Nordic boat in this new TV show, and hopefully we will see more of this in the future..

Everytime I go to the DS street party, people all around just stop and share in amazement on how amazing looking an MTI, Skater, OL, Cig, etc.. look in person, these boats are unbelievable, and deserve more exposure on TV or Movies...
I'd love to see my boat on tv or in a movie...

p.s... The 48MTI "Windship" would be a great looking boat to see in a movie... That boat is something everyone says "WOW" to when they see it...........

Obviously this movie wouldn't be about the boats but sort of added as an extra...

It's more of a Horror Movie which is suppose to end up with a PG Rating so most kids can get in to see it...

Yep, I know, I got a lil excited, just like in the Miami Vice Movie, I couldn't wait to see the 39MTI "Mojo" and was disappointed, like many others, when see didn't see alot of the boat during the movie...

but ya, hopefully this catches on!!

My favorite movie scene of all time though is when Crocket said he's a fiend for mojitos and she says I know a place and they take off for cuba.

If I were to hit the lotto today I would run a boat down, have a cohiba and mojito and come back.

Movie looks terrible, I'm not sure it's something the offshore industry would want to hitch their wagon to.
