Have any changes/improvements/updates been made in construction methods and materials over the former?

Yes they could have molded in air scoops on the sides. Those vents are so last century. Flush hatches just look better. Something should also be done with the port dashboard, looks empty.

Awesome looking boat, the only question I have is. Will it be a pain in the butt to shift the starboard drive with the lever that close to the side of the boat, with the throttles in the way?

Good catch. The nuetral to reverse shift and vice versa looks like it has potential for issues. Looks like 1" or less between shifter and gunwhale?

I certainly appreciate all the commets both pro and con.. I am looking forward to taking possession of this boat and once I do it will be customized. I agree the throtle looks like it could be an issue but I have someone that can extend the control here in RI.. as for the bow.. I have already arraigned for somone to paint th etop to add a bit to it... . the side vents.. are fine on the photo .. will see what it loloks like in person... the only thing I need right now that I cannot come up with is a trailer for the boat.... does anyone know what I should get and does anyone have a used one.... .I am a poor frenchman and have run out of money so any assitance will be appreciated. thanks.
