I have not got to speak to Tyson, but he has been sending me texts.
He says they can barely stand up. They had a lot of press and even the Mayer was there to welcome them in. They had to go to Customs and do interviews. He says the seas were 8-10' foot most of the way, beating them to death. They passed about five cruise ships, a couple late at night 400 miles offshore and they were running 49mph. Chris and Tyson want to thank everyone for the good wishes and Chris thanks Statement, Mercury, and all of his other sponsors. Without them, they would not have been able to make the journey. He says that when they get an internet connection he will give a full report on the trip. Tristan |

Congratulations to all involved - A Huge Accomplishment!
This is the epitomy of offshore performance boating and spectacular boating endurance! Glad they and the boat made if safe and mostly sound (less black and blue bruises and exhaustion!) Best Regards, Ray @ Raylar |
