For the Cape Coral, Ft Myers gang: I should be on the Gulf side of the Sanibel Causeway around 10:15. Ken, we can swing by Big Carlos on our way if you want.

Tom, I'm sure there will be room at the table for ya!
Hey guys- when we first get started tomorrow Bob is gonna maintain a moderate speed for a bit and let everyone pass us so I can get some running shots of everybody before we get underway. Smile!

Bob,
Got down a little while ago please private message me your cell, you must have changed it some woman's voice mail comes
Or give me a call on my cell 908 472 4353.
I had a friend down south today and I know you went, but I was told we better run a few miles offshore they got stuck in the Sand and rocks everywhere.
I am really not looking to damage my new herrings, or worse but I don't what you saw today.
Please get in touch with me, John

Update:
Went down to Everglades City for lunch today at dead low tide today to make sure there were no problems getting in. There is lots of water. I never had less than 4ft of water under my keel and most of the time there was 5 ft. Did not even stirr up and mud or sand so no concerns there.
When we leave the Gulf at Indian Key it is important that everyone fall in behind me and we run single file. There are some speed restrictions and some idle. We will stop at Indian Key to re group before running the channel to Everglades City.

John,
Your friend obviously does not know what he is doing. We will not be following him. These are my home waters for the last 16 years and can do this in the dark. I have no intentions of leading a group of boats into trouble. Stick with me my friend and you will have a good day.
See you in the morning.

I have ran with Bob to Everglades City before and I have lived here all my life and been there more times than I want to count, having fun and working, I built docks there for years, I have complete trust in Bobs Leadership.I just parked Merlin at the Cabana, ran offshore for a little sunset cruise, 2os and less looks great winds 3mph out of NE watch out for the Crab pots.

Sorry we missed the run today. The tide was too low to get out. We started on our way but turned around and went back home.

We missed you Dennis. Had an awsome day on the water. Think there were 20 or 21 boats at the start but lost 2 or 3 over the coarse of the day thru the normal attrition in this sport.
We had a plane overhead taking pictures as well as Jayboat and others. Can't wait to see them. You will have to make our next run probably New Years Day again.
