It looks like there's a recess for an anchor locker hatch just aft of the forward cleat already, just like on my Dominator? If that's not going to be an anchor locker, then why is it recessed, or appear recessed?

Either way, this is exciting to finally see this boat start to come together. Keep'em coming as you get'em.

The recess is there because that is the nose from the innovator. So not sure what they plan to keep or change, although I believe they are changing the recesses for the cleats. It is supposed to have popups. My complaint from my dominator has been those recessed areas look nice, but collect too much dirt. Also the specs for the F4 do call for an anchor locker. I also think they are leaving the bulkhead positioned where it was on the PP hull, but not sure about that. If they do, there will be a ton of room between that forward bulkhead and the new nose.

Hmmm. I guess it's hard to tell in these photo's with som much being experimented with.

As far as the extra space up front, I would then ask that they place an access door to allow for additional storage forward of the V-berth.

good idea on the access door for more storage. You could also put another false wall in forward of the access door to keep the anchor locker separate from the storage.

Talked to Wayne yesterday. Boat ends up being 43 feet 4 inches . I believe the final length is set. Width is 8 feet 9 inches at the widest point, they added 1.5 inches on each side to put the same flare out around the rub rail that is on the dominator. It is still 8'6" at the transom though.

My slip at lake of the ozarks is only 40 feet long, so now I can start that project.

That's a pretty cool personal touch. I also notice that the step is not that drastic either. Keep them pics coming I'm frothing at the mouth...

Is'nt the maximum legally trailerable beam of a boat, in most states, only 8' 6"? Over that width, I believe, special permitting is required in each & every state that you are traveling through. I guess this would not be a commonly trailered boat anyway. Ed

Maximum width on anything on the roadways is 8'6" without a permit. That was the first thing I said to Wayne when he told me. There are several boats that have to deal with that problem, just about every Cat that has any length to it. I believe black thunders are 9'6".

I thought the maximum allowable was more than 8'6"? There are a few BT's in the area that trailer frequently with no problems or permits. I thought the maximum was in the 9's?...
