Went and got her...

Finally got her home. Thanks to RV for taking such care of this boat. I don't know if you can see the reflection in this picture but this is the result of a 3 month block sanded finish. We are certainly the benificiary of a lot of hard work. This boat has a mirror finish unlike any other Nordic I've ever seen.
This part made me a bit nervous

Doesn't take me long...I was drilling holes within 15 minutes of arrival at RVs. Put on the new Gibsons and did a before and after db test...
RV thought he sold his boat but he spent all day helping me with this project. Thanks again Rick

The 496HOs with the Gibsons sound like two corvettes running down the road side by side. Very nice
First ride out at 5000 feet elevation and she ran 72-73 GPS. Might not sound like much to you lowlanders but that is very respectable for stock power around these parts. I've got a set of worked 30s (actually like 29s) that I'm really wanting to try and hoping to see 80 when we run down to Havasu or Mead
Thanks again to Rick and Wendy; Boats this nice just aren't very often found
Later,
Dave

NF,
How do you like your Gibson mufflers? I was thinking about trying their "Downturn" pipes, BUT I don't think they'll fit on the transom of a Flame?
I really like the idea that it will be silent @ idle!
How much $$ were the clamp-ons and where did you buy them?
Thanks,
Dean
BTW, your boat looks AWESOME!!
