John made the following announcements at the Saturday Morning Driver's meeting:

= 2 different TV shows will start filming at SBI Nationals in Deerfield.

= VH1 and UPN TV network shows will feature SBI racers and racing action.

= Hulk Hogan is Grand Marshall of Key West Worlds.

= Hulk-a-Mania boat being built for Hulk by Fountain.

= SBI Racing to be featured in Hulk Hogan reality TV show.

= Seminole Indian/Hard Rock sign on as SBI Sponsor.

That's great news and some good PR for SBI/APBA

News for today is that SBI is will be racing in Panama City Beach for the next 5 years.

Bob Warner from the TDC and John C. have confirmed plans to place Panama City Beach on the SBI schedule for the third weekend in August through 2010.

Mark your calenders and make your reservations.

This town ROCKS!

Once again, anyone that wasn't in the Panama City/Panama City Beach area this weekend missed a GREAT time! Just as with the divisional race on the PC side, the fans on the PCB side are excited to see offshore racing back in the area. This is only going to get bigger and better over the next 5 years.

Ken and Alan (and the many others who helped put on this race)...thanks for your hard work in making this a great event!

And thanks to JC for what he's done for promoting this sport nationally...OLN, UPN, VH1, Hulk Hogan, Seminole Indians/Hard Rock and the Miami Vice movie...now that's a line-up!

We're extremely excited about the future of SBI/APBA and look forward to going back to these race sites in the years to come!

Who remembers the gray Hulk Scarab that was at the Sarasota race in 1994 or 1995? That thing got a lot of attention.

I hope they let our team come back....i would race there 3 times a year if they let us, maybe 4. Panama City Beach did a good job on such a short notice
