Electrical guru's
I need a way to use 12 volt electronics i.e: phone chargers. sound systems, and the usual..
How cam I go from 24 to 12 volt? do they make in inverter to do this?

Alot of larger diesel powered boats use 24 volt starters on the engines but split the system to power 12 volt things. They use 12 volt batteries but wire them together to get the 24 volts. Some big trucks have the same set up.

This is a Military vheicle. so EVERYTHING in the truck is 24V

Unless the vehicle has a 24 volt battery you can split off one of the 12 volts to get your supply. If it has a 24 volt battery you will need a transformer not an inverter.

Simply put What a inverter does in this case is converts the dc to ac then runs through a step down transformer then converts it back to dc.
Its easy to go to ac to dc. Going from DC to AC is the trick.
Can you say Oscillator. It actually switches the polarity of the dc many times. (60 hz). However viewed with a scope will reveal a square sign wave.
