Default Vector 3000 inverter questions

I bought the inverter two yrs ago and just put it in yesterday.
In the two years the owner-operational manual has become history.
I have hooked it up to a seperate battery source ,but it doesn't always power up it seems . i have used the microwave and battery charger when it was showing power. It just doesn't seem to power up right away.Tested with the ohm meter and the outlits are dead
then it will sometimes powerup when you turn it off and back on
plug in the boat and it might or might not come on.
does enyone have a manual? or know how this thing operates
Thanks
RR

Vector is in Miami--and they have a web site -- http://www.vectormfg.com/site2/frontpages/company.htm -- they will probably have the manual in archives and will fax to you. I've had great luck with thier customer service.

Most inverters will not make output power unless the unit senses a load. Just probing the outlet with a volt meter probably won't show anything.
