Damage Report 04/10/05

Well today I opened up the boat to pull it out. I bought two new batteries put them in and both engines started right up. WOO HOO
Took it for a quick ride before I put it in the trailer and thats where things went south. At around 3100 rpm the left engine started to stall out so I pulled back and shut it off. I opened the engine hatch to find oil and water covering the whole engine. Dont really know what happened at this point but drained the engine and pumped about 3 gals of water out of it. Have pics and will post them tommorow. Prolly will start even pulling the engine tommorow to find out more.
Needless to say this is not a good way to start the season

If it makes you feel any better, I took the Formula out for it's first run today. Problems weren't that bad and we did get to run for 1.5-2 hours, but it went straight to my mechanic when I left the ramp.
Good Luck
