Default Tar on non-skid

I don't even want to talk about how this happened but I have quite a few tar spots on my swim platform non-skid. Tar like the asphalt in a parking lot. I was wondering what I can use to get it off? Is it possible to use bug/tar remover on fiberglass non-skid or will it hurt it?? I briefly tried some soft scrub and some purple power. They worked with mild results. If anyone has a magic solution please let me know. I am a little unhappy to say the least. Thanks!!!

If you go with thinner or anything like that have a soaking wet rag hady to wipe it off with quick and you will be fine.

Thanks. I will give that a try tomorrow. I think if I apply it to a rag then was it off as soon as I am done with lots of water it should be ok.

Why not start with bug and tar remover? That's what it's made for.
