So how in the crap do you get these stock mufflers off or out that come stock these days on Bajas? I drilled out the circular baffle deal and was trying to work my way to getting the mufflers out but there is a weld in there?....whew.....what does that nut keep tight if I were to take it off? I want them gone but wanted to see if anyone else had tackled this first?

Hi! I'm in the process of installing a set of these tips and was wondering why you are removing them? Sound? Just curious. Mine have one screw in the middle going from inside out. Looks like it holds a baffle of some sort.

Yeah.......sound is the main reason. She sounds like a sissy to me.

Yea dis-assembling the muffler tips is not the way to go. Replace them with standard tips. My .02!
