You can buy an additive to put in any type of paint that will make it non-skid. They sell it at all the marine stores so you can match any color.

come on now, i guees i should have stated that i would like to use something like the hurkuliner truck bed roll on liner. its much stronger and will not scratch, as i will be doing the area around the sun pad. it comes in black now but soon in white. any ideas or should i just wait till may for the new white product from hurkuliner????????grimmy

You might not like the results of bedliner type coating on a boat. Look into using a 2 part epoxy paint and the additive to make a hard, almost scratch proof surface. Also most of the bedliner coatings seem to be pretty slippery especially when wet-even when the surface is rough.
