Stereo under the grab bar on the port side of the dash in a sony waterproof housing. Get a radio with a remote so you can change stations, volume etc.. on the drivers side without having to open the housing. Speakers on the kickplate where you put your feet in the front, rear speakers behind the front seats on the gunnels and woofers in the back behind the back seat. I have 4 speakers and 2 subs and it sounds really good. Amps go over the tunnel in the front side. pm me if you need anymore info. Make sure they put a piece of vinyl or something over the top of the radio in case the seal isnt water tight it wont get into the radio I learned that the hardway.

i was thinkin the same as far as the speakers and the head unit...good idea on the subs. was actually going to put an amplified box under dash in the center.

Chuck could tell you what subs to use. THe ones he had put in my boat sound amazing and they barely take up any space.

Stereo? My truck came with one of those....... I didn't do a stereo in this boat and don't know that I will now. Just get in your boat and start it up, look over your shoulder and pretend the owner is standing on dock........... then drive it like you stole it! You don't need a stereo, those outboards at 6000 rpm sound great.

just something about rippin across the water when ya hear certain songs...makes it that much better...like a different place. as silly as it may sound when we take my buddies Gladiator out, as soon as he fires it up he cranks up Somke on the Water by Deep Purple. Its Cigs theme song from there website. Stupid i know but gets the juices flowin.
