Default Boats as Transportation to work?

Does anyone drive their boat to work? Probably a dumb question, but wondered if anyone was in a unique situation that they could take the boat to work.

We have a customer in Ocean City that takes his Donzi back and forth to the office when its nice out. Also we had to take a Proline back and forth to work when the Bay Bridge was being worked on. Traffic sucked!

I've worked at a few places where it was possible but never did it. In my case the main issue stopping me from doing it was letting the boat sit in the marina all day without a slip.

Should have thought about it when I lived in West Van. The Lions Gate bridge sucked for traffic, made worse when they did work on it!

I used to work at a marina up the lake from our house and take the Top Gun to work every now and then. It's tough to get anything done when you are staring at your boat all day!

We have a Doctor on the island who takes a 24 Skater with 2 300x to work in the morning. He seems to be smiling a little too much. The boat is called ' House Calls'

How about as transportation from work??? During the summer when I worked in Downtown Chicago, Dan would pick me up at Burnham Harbor and we'd head to Hammond Marina. Most of his evening pictures on the lake were because he picked me up. It was the only good thing about that job

I wish boating season would get here already!
