Default Picking up the Cig

Yahoo i'm leaving in the morning for OK to pickup my new boat (2002 35' Playboy) should be back on wed. ready to have some fun this summer, i'll probably start off using it here at Castaic lake until i get use to it but i want to at least make a couple of runs to Catalina this Summer, maybe do some diving around there to if anyone knows of some good spots please let me know and i will be signing up with Scope as so as i get back.

I put my 28OS in Castaic once. ONCE! The stupid patrol boat followed me around the whole lake (35MPH speed limit). Plus there are a bunch of idiots out there, not to mention the launch ramp antics. Take that beautiful boat to Channel Islands Harbor and make some short runs there. You can cruise up to Ventura in just a few minutes, grab some lunch and head back. Good way to get your feet (and hull) wet.

I did the same thing with my 20' Baja Outlaw. Once in Castaic then hit the big blue!

We are in New Mexico now will pickup boat tomorrow at grand lake and head home on tuesday
