This insurance and fuel is outa control!!!!!!!!!
My fuel and insurance costs have risen 110% since I bought my boat in 2003. Just E-mailed WorldWide Marine (Bob) and asked for a quote. Seasafe underwriters wanted 6500.00. GEEZZZZ Im 48years old with a impeccable driving record. No claims, 3 yrs. cat exp. numerous safe driving awards. This industry is forcing me out of the loop at this rate. I can't budget for these kind of increases or EVEN JUSTIFY it anymore. This boat might be for sale by months end if Bob doesn't come through.

This is just a thought but we choose to have insurance on water craft??? Imagine what they could charge if the state made you carry insurance??? I seriously considered getting a newer boat, twin engine cat until I read about insurance, I will just keep what I have

I can see these rates if your new to this sport or if you never ever owned a cat, but those of us whom already have proved were responsable and qualified just doesn't seem right.
