VELOCITY Powerboats will be returning to the Chesapeake Bay on JULY 23rd at the NautiGoose in North East, MD!!
Based on last year’s participant consensus, we’ll again deliver a top shelf, FUN RUN with plenty of social activities instead of a Poker Run. We’ve made a few course revisions for 2005. We’ll start the day by heading north to the Chesapeake City Bridge on the C&D Canal. Next we’ll travel south to Great Oaks on Fairlee Creek for lunch. After lunch we’ll head back north and have an optional raft up at Still Pond for those wanting to swim and relax on their boats (instead of immediately returning back to the Nauti-Goose). What about last year’s rough conditions? While we can’t guarantee smooth conditions for 2005, our course will keep us closer to shore (easier to navigate!) and away from the big stuff we encountered in the shipping lanes last year. Furthermore, we now have a “Storm Course” planned that will be used, if needed, to avoid rougher waters. Lastly, for those of you traveling by boat to the event and then staying overnight, we have local transportation available to take you to and from the hotel.
Don't miss this exclusive Velocity, Regal Velocity and Thoroughbred event!

If anyone has a problem downloading the pdf file from the Velocity website - please let me know and I can either send you a Microsoft Word document version (640 KB) or fax it to you.
