I have b1's with addon bullet cones (possibly Bobs Nose cones) and the epoxy/filler between the drive and add-on cone has a big chip / scrape on one side and No other cracks or chips anywhere else. I was wondering what is the best filler patch that I can use on the outdrive to hide the blemish/chip and to be durable and paintable.
Thanks

I too need to use some epoxy or something on my gear case to blend in the nose casting into the front portion of the gearcase. I think the previous owner put bondo on but it flaked off in a huge chunk last year. What do others use to blend in their nosecones?

Hey Guys,
Hydromotive Engineering recommends a polyester based body filler (not talcum)...in fact they suggest all metal by U.S.G. if you can find it locally.
I pulled this information from their hydro-cone installation instructions.
Hope this helps,
Don B.
