Default Well, well...what have we here.

I still get the Baja magazines and I was flipping through the latest one, looks like they have a nice little blurb on Thunder Marine's Tampa Bay run. On page 31 they have a nice shot with St. Pete as the backdrop.

Now, who might that be up there on the top right????.....

So anyway, I've been hearing an awful lot about this new 40 Poker run boat, as shown on page 12 and 13. What's the story? I hear it's slower than molasses. It's a bueaty, but I was hoping it would be quicker.

Baja Daze, is that you? I have not been over here in a while. Congrats on the upgrade!!

I have not heard anything on the poker run rig. I agree, does look nice. My Dad sent me up pic's from the show in Miami.

Hey Daze,

Good to see you slumming over with the poor boys.

As for the 40, first they were going to put 1075's in it and I'm not sure how they ended up with the 850's.

Still it should go faster with the light weight carbon fiber hull.

A little birdie told me that they have concluded the "X" dimension is wrong.

Not 100% sure, but that is what I am hearing.

I saw it in Miami and it looks awesome. Cannot wait to see it run in Cumberland this September.

Take care buddy

Doc

Sacandaga, Yep, it's me. Thanks buddy.

Dock, you know I'm always lurking.

I was told[birdie] that the layup isn't nearly as light as they anticipated and the X is way off. Shame, because it's an incredibly cool looking rig. I saw at thunder Marine, and it's impressive.

That 40 is SICK!! What's the speeds out of it?? I've always loved the four bolster set up. Someone called it a school bus! I thought that was good. I'd still roll it!! It is a bit pricey though.

Why don't they fix the x?? I'm sure they f'd it up due to being in a hurry for the Miami show.

The boat ran 101 at the Tickfaw 200 in early May. Ran with it until they had a mechanical take them out. Very impressive boat.

Nick, I wonder who that guy in the picture is......I will have to check it out......

H.T., you don't like the four pack?? That is a Baja staple. I've always loved it. Thought it was a great idea to fit more people comfortably.

Anyone have pics of it? The ones I saw were from the show. Anymore?

Looks like a 6-pack!
The cool thing is, from what I hear is that with a push of a button, the back two drop down into the floor.

Lots of rumors floating around, but I heard that Thunder Marine was getting this boat.

As for speed, I think they would be THRILLED with 101. Were hoping for 110 with the 1075's.

But I have heard it has not broke 90 MPH.

As for the seats, they are like radar arches, you either love them or hate them!

I agree about no seats
in our 33 we only have two
Our friends have 4 and we call them
the 'school bus'
and ours is infamously known as the 'dance floor'.
WooHoo!!!!!
