Both are good boats. The Fountain is probably going to be a bit more money. The baja will be a bit bigger and handle the water a bit better. But that's my politically correct 2 cents

Drive both and make your pick. I've been driving LOTO for a long time. Either are going to be a rough ride on weekends. Both will be OK for during the week, but just OK during summer months.

Ditto. (make that 4 cents)

If both equipped with the same HP the Fountain will be faster and handle the bigger water. The Baja may have better amenities and be more comfortable. Your call both good.. My .02.

They are both well made boats, I agree that the Fountain will be faster, you'll sacrifice some space for the speed though. As far as pulling tube? Not with the Fountain........ I know my business partners Fountain can barely get on plane with 4 people in the back of it, he has to have everybody move forward in the cockpit before it will roll over, even with trim tabs. This is no BS, I've been behind his boat and watched it. That's with a 496ho Bravo drive and 4 blade bravo 1 24 pitch prop. The boat is faster than most single motor 496 boats but it does not plane well. If you are going to have a bunch of people riding in there trying to pull a tube you'd better be tall enough to see over that beak straight up in the air........
I'd still take the beak over the Baja though (I don't pull tubes anyways)..........
