Default Speedboat magazine

Picked up the first issue of Speedboat last night just to see what it was about. I thought it was a nice change from Powerboat. Haven't gotten through it entirely yet but from what I've read I liked it. They seem to have used the KISS approach, easy to understand. I liked the features it offered. I'd buy it again.

Will NEVER replace OSO however.....

My friend loaned me his copy. I haven't got a chance to read it yet. The pics look good though.

I liked it for being straightforward, easy to read, and the pics were great. I also liked it for mentioning some of the flaws on these boats, I get so tired of hearing how perfect these boats are and when you get into them they are different then the articles. I say print the good with the bad, the problem is they need advertisers to exist, a catch 22.

It's put out by Boating magazine, picked one up last week, a lot of information, a lot of boat test. If they kept it that way I will subscribe

They seen to be at most reasonable magazine racks.

I've seen them in four or five "general" places in the last two days.
