Has anyone taken the baffles out of there through hulls? How loud was it and did you get any heat from the cops?? Was there any speed gains?

I did it on my 29 and did nort really notice a noise or speed differance, but that was with 7.4 MPIs.

I rmoved the mufflers and sold them. Replaced with straight throughs. Maybe one mile an hour difference. Not easy to get mufflers off so I suggest gutting your corsas. Sound great with hp500's no more interest from the cops but i do have switchable and have been using them more lately when i see the coasties or sheriff.

How did you go about gutting the Corsas? I have been kicking it around.

Took mufflers off my 340. (Same as 380) I replaced them with straight through tips.
Sounded MUCH better, performance wise I maybe got 1 mph, but midrange punch was improved.
VERY easy job. took about 45 minutes to remove / replace all 4 tips.
I highly recommend it.

45 min? They must not have glued yours on with 5200. I had to heat the area around the corsas and make a puller to get mine off. Then to top it all off the hole pattern on the corsas were wider than Eddie marines straight through pattern. Hade to plug the holes and redrill for the cleanest install.
