I am happy to say that the Hydromotive P5-X props are now available in a 23P and 24P!!!!!!!!!!
This is great news for those of you running 26P Bravo I porps that had some interest in 5B'x.

Hi Julie,
I have a question for you, I presently have Merc Bravo I 4 blade 28P props (inward turning) on my 2000 Powerquest 380 Avenger(approximate weight fully loaded is 11,500lbs.).
X dimension is 17 1/2"(or about 4" below the hull) Top speed with my dinged up props is 72-73mph.
I would like to get another set of props that will hold even better in rough water, would the hydromotive P5 X's work here? Would I need to go down in pitch with this prop ( currently running to the rev limiters), I am much more concerned about rough water performance than top speed!
Thanks, Paul

Yes, Paul it is possible the Hydromotive P5-X may achieve your goal. You will indeed drop 1 inch of pitch from the actual pitch of your current propeller. So in Your case the Bravo I 28P is actually approx. a 27P so you would need a 26P P5-X. They are readily available.

Julie do you have any 23 Demo's yet? I have Brian's 25 P5X's turning them 4700 at wot. Do you think the 23's would bring me to 5000.

Hello Mark,
The 23P P5-X props should runn 400 RPM higher than Brian's 25P, assuming his are stock. Unforunatly we don't have them for testing purposes, but this is what it sounds like you need.
