Put-In Bay / Islands trip a go August 6-13
Transport is all set - We'll be launching at the Sandusky city ramp Saturday morning the 6th and tying up at Fox's Dock at Put-In Bay for the week. Side trips will include Toledo/Rossford, Kelley's Island and Pellee Island. Can't wait!

We're (finally) onour way. Spoke with the boat hauler this afternoon and he's ready to pick it up Friday AM. The missus and I will arrive in Sandusky late Friday night.
Roger - I'll give you a call Friday evening when I know everything is good to go for Saturday AM.

Stayed an extra day! Got home safely last night around 7:30 PM.
Roger/Stephanie, Scott/Mary, Chuck/Chris, Dan, Fred and all the rest of the great LEOPA people that we got to meet at the Casino and elsewhere :
Thanks to everyone for the help and hospitality - We had a ball. While our accomodations (and some of our experiences) at PIB weren't as great as the rest of the trip, we had a great time while exploring virtually all the islands, including Pelee. (Make sure that you're up to speed on the latest US Customs procedures BEFORE you leave for Canada...) The only thing that did not work out was the run to Toledo - weather kept threatening late in the week. Maybe next time...
