I'm very interested in purchasing this 1999 Pantera 28 sport with Twin 502 Magnums. The broker is unclear on the original power of the boat and the year it was repowered. The broker states Pantera informed him of an upgrade of power in 2001. I would appreciate any information that could be offered regarding this boat from any members of the Pantera forum or from Pantera Boats. This boat is included in the Pantera Owners Gallery. Thanks, Joe.

hello sands, panteras are very rare in this area, i have seen the uncivilized, just on the trailer passing through port clinton area two weeks ago, looked pretty good to me. twin 502/415 i am from monroe, mich 20miles north of toledo. you need to take it out for a sea trial, my 1992 is in the classified section on here, freshwateronly 28ft older, heavy layup 7000lbs but if you come see mine, go for a sea trial you will think you are looking at a 1996 or newer, mine has big power twin 700hp, heavy duty TRS drives 72c transmissions, complete package in excellent shape, low, low hours, cruise at 55mph or fly at 94 mph WOT can even hook you up with original owner

i saw the boat and looked into it but heard that there was hull damage at one time ?? looks like some one experienced fixed it though?? i did question this until the broker said something about a re power and that there was 300 hrs?? My thought was that the re power was because she might have taken on some water at sometime so i shyed away !!

hello stormrider, i have never raised the bolsters, but i could find out from original owner, if he did, i think my windscreen might be lower than the newer models, which in turn would make the bolsters appear to be higher, joey would now for sure.
