Smitty and Anthony ran like scalded dogs today. It was great to watch them in the new boat. The Mojo team is a super nice group and I'm glad they did well. Congrats to everyone!

According to my source who raced this weekend in P-4, everyone in P-5 broke out and 3 of the 5 boats in P-4 broke out.
The guy who broke his arm in the first turn of the first lap of the P-4 race won as he drove around the course with his broken wing.
The second place boat in P-4 had outdrive problems and nutured his way to second place points.
And the rest of the boys in P-4 finished just like they did last weekend at St. Clair.
P-4
Broken Arm, 1st
Broken Drive, 2nd
then.........Konrad, Bounty Hunter and Augie for fifth place points.
P-5
All four teams received fifth place points.
Sounds like some racers got fleeced for points and money.

I'm confused. I thought SBI did away with the GPS and lap speeds in favor of prop and gear ration calculations along with rev limiters to place boats in thier correct classes? I liked this idea since there was no way to break out. I didn't think GPS units or other timing meathods were still being used. If boats are timed, is it the highest obtained speed or overall average speed per lap?
