Alpha Stern Drive Replacement, How Much
Probably going to replace my Alpha Stern Drive on my boat over the winter months. Just figure that a rebuild on a 18 year old stern drive would be a good idea, so why not just replace the entire thing. Good piece of mind for me.
Anyway, what am I looking at paying for a stern drive and install? Total cost? I live in Annapolis, MD; but have no qualms about ording in an Alpha drive to be put on.
5.7L Merc Cruiser 260 on a 21' Scarab 1.
Also, should I stay with the Alpha or should I upgrade?
Any good online retailers for stern drive?
