Default power steering pump

What type of lube goes in here? I have mayfair external steering. Also I have a marine machine resivoir that runs over to my powersteering pump. I had to disconect the hose in order to pull the motor out and red fluid came out kinda like trans fluid. I put it all back together and need to top off the resivior. Also do i need to bleed the system? I didnt let all the fluid run out but what if air got in? Thanks.

just make sure you don't use type F it will destroy the pump and the seals in the steering clyinders.
