I have a friend who has a pair of 2" shorites that I believe he wants to sell. He needs a standard length to do what he needs. His name is Randy. I have him on nextel and I will have to get you his cell number. If you have nextel, call him at 150*21*24155

Can you guys with the 2" shorties give some details as to why the shortend drives didn't work for your particular application please? I am just curious to know why they didn't work for you, and would greatly appreciate you sharing your experience, pro's & cons with them.
I bought a pair of IMCO -2" shorties as well, but haven't tried them yet. I have a 32' Active Thunder conventional V-hull with Bravo One XR drives on Stellings extension boxes and I am thinking the shorties will help---especially because of the extension boxes I have on the boat, but still have yet to find out. The propshaft centerlines on the drives sit about 3.5" to 4" below the hull.
