Default Discoloring of Sportmasters....how to remove ?

After just one night in the Ft. Laud water, the new sportmnasters on the Fountain are discolored and streaked. How would I remove this ? The boat is to be delivered to a new home asap and needs to look it's best.

Thanks.

Buy aluminum cleaner (liquid) at the hardware store. Brush on and use a Scotch Brite pad and it will look new with very little effort.

Just tried the aluminum polish, works great.

Now, what causes the discoloration? Heat build up in drive??

The best thing out there is ZEP Alum. Spray it on, hose it off. Shines better than new.

Not for me, a friend had a brand new Fountain with discolored Sporty's from a saltwater test run.

Oh, and I'm meeting with the DEA in the next few days/week about the return of my Fountain.
