Question For The Prop Pro's
#1
changed props to turn out and didnt gain any noticable bow lift and lost aprox 1 mph???
96' 38' non stepped scarab with 600's.
5400 @ 77mph gps w/bravo 26"
I am thinking of having props labbed for more bow lift, MY QUESTION IS.... DO I NEED TO HAVE THE PROPS TURNING OUT TO MAXIMIZE THE BENIFITS OF REWORKING THE PROPS FOR MORE LIFT OR CAN I KEEP THEM TURNING IN AFTER LABBING FOR BOW LIFT.

Turning them "in" gives the bow lift. Thats probably why you lost the top end speed (more drag).
You can turn them any way you like. Whatever works the best for you. Labbing will work with either rotation.
There are things we can do to the props to induce more bow lift too.
How fast do you want to turn the motors? Your under 11% slip right now! (1.5 g.r.)

Turning in is the way to leverage the stern and create bow lift.
Our standard template Lab Finish is a 300 rpm gain.
