Default Brad Penn oil???

Anyone familiar with Brad Penn oil? When I was out at LOTO for the shoot out, I noticed that it's becoming a very popular choice. From what I'm told it's a mix of petroleum and synthetic.

What's the story on Brad Penn?

Kurt

The oil has been around for a while and the company promotes alcohol drag races as the oil seems to be affected less by alcohol contamination than other conventional oils.

Besides that I am waiting to see more data and see what else it might have going for itself.

Supposedly this is the original Kendal GT formula and base stock. They claim they have the best "petro base" base stock available. I tried a couple cases a couple months ago and it seemed good but I didn't get it analyzed. Different twist...has aanyone tried some of the oils being used by some of the Nascar guys? It isn't Mobil 1 either.

Lots of different oils used....Unocal 76; Amsoil; Penzoil; Redline; Sint; and yes Mobil....bottom line is...I don't know of a team using conventional oil anymore..do you? They will tell you what's on the sticker is not always what's in the pan...

70% of the Nascars are using the M-1 and the Penske team uses a special blend from Mobil. Brad Penn tried to dip in a little of everything. Another note, what is on the sticker is not always in the pan is true.

Being an ExxonMobil distributor in Indianapolis, I can tell you during the race season and even during the month of May 99 to 100% of the cars have Mobil 1. They used to do the bottle switch. They also used rigged the reservoirs to pull a small sample of the sponsors oil when USAC was testing. Two years ago all 30 teams purchased Mobil 1 from us for the race. Even the 8 teams that didn't make it into the show.

On the Nascar deal, Gibbs racing and another team are reportedly running their own "oil" or at least it is bottled in a different can. Trying to find out what it may be.

Nope Brian, that was SEAN Penn (who does not have any oil named after him, but was in a movie with Jack Nicholson).
On further review, it was Brad PITT that dumped Jennifer Anniston, which still makes him an IDIOT !!!

Sorry, I have not heard of BRAD PENN oil, therefore, I lend absolutely NOTHING to this thread.....
