Maybe a little premature, but I am sitting here at work, looking out to my boat,(in pasadena texas), Ive got the engines out and about twelve feet up on a shelf inside the warehouse. They are predicting a ten foot storm surge so I hear, and the media is really going to town making the roads just about as dangerous as the hurricane. I have the boat out side of the warehouse. I really do not think I can get away from work long enough to get the boat to secure, higher ground, and evacuate myself and loved ones. At the moment I am thinking to just cross my fingers and hope for the best. Im Right on the ship channel in Pasadena , anybody have any good advice or experience as far as what I should do about now? Besides watch the news and hope it makes a turn.

Prepare for the worst, Wish for the best!!
All you Texan's be careful, listen to the warnings and leave if you're anywhere near the path. All indications are pointing to a CAT 5 for landfall.

Good luck!

They can go pretty far! Last year Jeane came all the way to Delaware and dropped a twister on our office while everyone was still working. It was a Catg 1/2. Made a nice mess. Stay safe and get out if you can. What work could be more important than protecting your family??

Get your boats as far away as you can. If on a trailer & you can't move it, tie it down, flatten tires, put a bunch of water in the bilge for extra weight and CHECK YOUR INSURANCE. If it hits as a cat 4 or 5, you may as well forget about doing anything to your boats. Nothing will help. Get your a$$es out of town
