Default What are 525SC blowers Worth

Anyone have any idea what a set of blowers off a 525SC are worth. They have a couple hundred hours, and make 5 psi boost on the motors. They would be sold minus carbs but otherwise complete ready for bolt on.
Thanks

Depends on the hours, and year they were manufactured. Do you have the complete hardware setup?

The used carbs and flame arrestors have to be worth at least $400-$500 each...so maybe $2500 to $3000 for it all. That should be fair I would think.

You do not want to know what I paid for mine. They are basically Wiands (sp) from what I understand.

RonS nice to hear from you, never ran into you this summer.
I'm thinking of going to a different type of blower with fuel injection. Seeing if I can get better fuel economy
If I makes more power thats just a added benefit

If it's fuel economy your going for Mark I have a suggestion.

Go as big as you can under the hatch, that way you will get to your destination faster and consequently shut the motors off sooner resulting in less fuel burned.

Hopefully we'll get together next summer. Between the new baby and repowering I only put on about 25 hrs this year.

Of course that's only about 10 less than any other year
