I have a magic loader 6000lb trailer 1990 looking to up grade the brakes, and maybe springs brake lines are shot to everything rusty, someone told me surge brakes are illegal?

If your interested I have a Brand new never used Nextrail, triple axil, electric brakes, aluminum with stainless hardware, spare tire, 10,500 lb. It was built for my 31 Sonic but I sold the boat without the trailer. let me know.
