I just found the tag on my trannies today after wiping away some grease. They are Borg warner 10-18 models. Are these any good compared to the merc trans or 10-17 b/w's? How much power can they handle? Also, what should I pay to freshen them up? They work fine, but i'm thinkning of freshening them while the engines are out. Thanks

The 10-18 (72C) is superior to the 10-17 (71C)
It's about an inch longer than the 10-17 and can handle a lot more power.
Send them to Marc at BAM. He can upgrade them to handle any power level that will fit your needs.
