A few years ago I bought whipple through an OSO group purchase. After tons of use the thing is leaking oil. So I phoned Whipple to see about replacement seals, gaskets, rebuild sevice, anything. Guess what, no dice. All they'll sell is a replacement supercharger unit for about $1500.00.
Any other options for rebuilding one of these units?

Rob,
What in the Hay am I going to do to get some speed out of these little 525's? I'd hate to spend 26K and be the guinea pig to see if Whipple's new supplier is up to snuff.

you won't be the guinea pig because whipple has been making the 525 kits for a while now and now that they
are making the blower they have full control of the product.
We have installed a few and sold even more and have yet
to see someone with a problem. they should be available
(cross our fingers) sometime in the next 1 to 2 months
but you better get on the list, cause mine has is getting
long........ as far as the seal kit for your blower johnjan
let me give them a call see if i can do anything for you,
what kit is it that you have?

I heard he is testing the new 2.2 and the 3.3 is on the way. There saying the new 3.3 will be the same as a quad blower set up.Its going to be a bad boy from what I here
. From my understanding the quality will be the same if not better. The internal parts are still made over seas.I bet there will be a kit ready by Feb-March.
Again this is hearsay

Robert just step up and buy you some shownuff big power ans speed masters $$$$
