Myco Customer Service... The Best!!!
#1
This past week has been extremely frustrating and stressful. My boat has been down at Nor-Tech for the past couple of weeks getting some repairs. With the impending hurricane, I decided that I better get the boat out of Ft. Myers and back to NY. Well I hired a transporter to pick up the boat at Nor-Tech, and I headed south to meet him on I-95. Unfortunately he got into an accident on I-75 about twenty minutes into the trip. That mess will be part of another post (verify that the transporter has insurance, don' take his word!!!!!). The boat survived with only one minor scratch, but the trailer is a twisted mess. The trailer completely jackknifed, and that boat never moved!!!! The boat was only about 20 miles from the Myco factory, so I shipped it there. Bill Tweedy went far beyond my expectations to help me out. He was willing to have a new trailer completed in 2 days so that I could still try to get the boat out of Fl. He also assisted in contacting another 36 Nor-Tech owner with a recovery business(flatbed), and the possibilty of using his trailer temporarily. I have no doubt that if it were not for the quality and strength of my trailer the boat would be a total loss. Many times there is threads on whether to spend the money for a Myco or settle for less. I hope this post will help some of you who ask this question whether they are worth the money or not. I will never own another brand of trailer. Now stay tuned for my rant on the transporter!!!!!
