You can probably get some ideas from guys on here, but I would suggest that you would still/eventually PM "rmbuilder"...he has the knowledge, experience, and integrity to help you get set up with the right head/cam combination for the cubic inch size of your engines, type of application, etc. He has helped me with my combination, and several others here.

KAAMA has a good plan, I may add that you have a good induction system you may want to add some stroke to the engines and gain some CID. That extra .250" of arm does wonders.

At some point the blowers themselves become the bottle neck. Will 250 blowers fit the intercoolers you bought?

It is my understanding that increasing the cubes with the same blower will drop the current max boost some since we are now feeding a larger volume. I would want to know if you would still gain horsepower with the lower boost if you keep the present blower.

I'd say scrap the old induction and drop on some 8-71s at around 7-7.5psi with some roller cams....
Come to think of it, MSD ignition and spinning it at 5600rpm should help too.
Forget the rod deal, a .250 longer rod may give you 5-7hp.

What did you find out about a larger blower fitting on your present intake?

I wouldn't worry about the heads...good enough for the 454CID.
I might even take back the cam swap idea....to much work and $ for a 30-40hp gain.
The 8-71's should do it.
