Basically, it is running your engine and squirting (while running) Marvel Mystery Oil, (or similar) through the intake until it smokes out the exhaust. This coats the internals of your engine - keeping moisture from doing any harm during storage or long periods of not running.

Easy to do w/ carb motor, a bit more hassle w/ EFI.... while pouring anti-freeze through the muffs pour Mystery oil or 2-stroke or fogging oil down the carb until it chokes out and stalls. W/ EFI I pour most of the antif-feeze through the muffs then pull off the fuel filter dump out most of the gas and fill up w/ 2-stroke oil and start it up while finishing off the last half gallon or so of anti-freeze

Inhibits rust and or corrosion formation on the cylinder walls, heads, intakes, pistons, etc, etc.

Also fouls you plugs.

For those of you who store outside or in non heated buildings, you would be amazed at the amount of condensate that is deposited.

Be very careful about pouring so much that is stalls, I have seen motors hydraulic lock when tried to start in the spring.
